A striking vintage ruby and diamond bypass ring, crafted in tested 18ct white gold, with a beautifully unusual asymmetric design reminiscent of the geometric jewellery of the Art Deco period.
The ring features two oval mixed-cut rubies, approximately 1.00ct total, positioned diagonally opposite one another. At the centre sits a round-cut diamond, complemented by two baguette-cut diamonds, creating an elegant combination of contrasting cuts.
The diamonds have a combined estimated weight of approximately 0.55ct, assessed as G–H colour and VS2–SI2 clarity.
The open, sculptural shoulders curve around the gemstones, giving the ring a distinctive architectural appearance while allowing the rubies and central diamond to remain the focus.
